'Lampshade Making Workshops 2026

Spend a relaxed morning in creative company, turning beautiful fabric into something truly fabulous. In just a few hours, you’ll craft a lampshade so good it might just upstage your furniture ✨

In this workshop you will be guided to design your own 30cm drum lampshade using professional lampshade making supplies used by industry professionals worldwide.

Our workshops are fun, relaxed and creative. This is a hands-on workshop that’ll leave you glowing (literally) ✨

All supplies included as well as a delicious morning tea. 

Please bring along your own choice of fabric to match your home decor.

Fabric Size: 120cm width x 50cm length (this allows room for pattern matching)

Fabric Type: Cotton, linen, cotton blend - light to medium weave (stretch and upholstery fabrics are not recommended).

• Perfect for medium size table lamp or bedside lamp.
• Professional lampshade making supplies included.

If the lampshade bug bites you, there will be lampshade kits available to purchase on the day for $65. Each Kit including all the supplies needed to create one 30cm x 21cm lampshade. 

Because buying a lampshade is one thing - but making one? That’s a whole new level of fabulous.

💌 Workshop Terms & Cancellations

Cancellations & Refunds
Because spaces are limited and materials are prepped in advance, workshop bookings are non-refundable. However, life happens - if you can’t make it, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or contact me to discuss a future workshop date (please provide at least 7 days’ notice so I can offer your spot to someone else).

Minimum Numbers
Workshops require a minimum number of participants to go ahead. In the rare event Madam Lampshade needs to reschedule or cancel a class, you’ll be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

What if I’m running late?
We’ll always do our best to catch you up, but arriving on time ensures you don’t miss out on any of the fun (or the tea and treats!)
