Securing your seat

Full payment is required to confirm your place in a Madam Lampshade workshop.

We understand that plans can change. This policy outlines your options if you need to cancel or change your booking, or if we need to alter or cancel a workshop.

Cancellations by you

14 or more days before the workshop

You may choose either:

• a full refund of your workshop fee; or
• a transfer to an alternative workshop date, subject to availability.

7–13 days before the workshop

You may choose either:

• a 50% refund of your workshop fee;
• a credit equal to 100% of your workshop fee, which may be used towards a future Madam Lampshade workshop within 12 months of the original workshop date, subject to availability; or
• a transfer of your original booking to a friend or another guest attending the original workshop.

The remaining 50% is retained because your booking reserved a place that may otherwise have been offered to another guest.

If you wish to transfer your booking to another guest, please notify us no later than 48 hours before the workshop and provide the new guest’s full name and contact details by emailing hello@madamlampshade.com.au.

Less than 7 days before the workshop

No refund or workshop credit will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop. This is because your booking reserved a place that may otherwise have been offered to another guest.

You may transfer your booking to a friend or another guest attending the original workshop, provided you notify us no later than 48 hours before the workshop and provide the new guest’s full name and contact details by emailing hello@madamlampshade.com.au.

Cancellations by Madam Lampshade

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, such as instructor illness, extreme weather or another event beyond our reasonable control, you will be offered either:

• a full refund of your workshop fee; or
• a transfer to an alternative workshop date, subject to availability.

We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

*Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
