Madam Lampshade Return & Refund Policy

At Madam Lampshade, we take great pride in creating beautiful, handcrafted lampshades, and we want you to love your purchase! However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. Here’s our policy to ensure a smooth experience for you:

Damaged or Faulty Items We take great care in packaging our lampshades, in the event your order arrives damaged, please get in touch within 48 hours of receiving your item, via email; at hello@madamlampshade.com.au Send us a photo of the damage, to both the shade & packaging, including the shipping label, and we’ll arrange a replacement, repair, store credit, or a full refund. 

Change of Mind – Stock Lampshades If you change your mind about a lampshade purchased from our stock range, we’re happy to offer an exchange or a store credit. The item must be returned in its original condition & packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please note that return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility. We do not provide refunds or return shipping for change of mind. Please choose carefully to ensure your lampshade is the correct size and fabric choice. Sale Items - No exchanges or refunds are available on Sale items. Please choose carefully to ensure your lampshade is the correct size and fabric choice. If you’d like some extra reassurance, we’re happy to provide you with additional photos in different lighting conditions and advice before your purchase.

Commission & Custom Orders Because commission & custom lampshades are made just for you, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. We’ll work closely with you during the design process to ensure that you’re happy with your bespoke piece before it’s made. Choosing the Right Lampshade - to enhance your space - To help you find the perfect fit, we recommend measuring your space, ceiling height (for pendant hanging shades) or Table lamps carefully before purchasing. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to offer guidance to ensure your lampshade complements your room beautifully!

Colour Variation of Fabric - Colours may appear slightly different in person due to variations on screens, tablets and mobile devices. If you’d like extra reassurance, we’re happy to provide more photos in different lighting conditions and advice before you purchase.

Returns Process - To arrange a refund, return, store credit, or exchange, please email us in the first instance at hello@madamlampshade.com.au alternatively, contact us here!

Workshop Bookings - Workshop bookings are subject to our Workshop Booking & Cancellation Policy. A non-refundable deposit of $65 secures your seat. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your workshop date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop date are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. One complimentary date transfer is available with 14 days' notice, subject to availability. In the event of cancellation by Madam Lampshade, a full refund or date transfer will be offered.
