How to Measure a Lamp Shade: A Guide to Perfect Proportions
Step 1. We'll help you size things up beautifully!
Finding the right fit isn't just about looks- it's about balance, proportion, and making sure your shade doesn't outshine (or underwhelm) the space.
To get the perfect fit we'll need:
✧ Diameter measurements, both top & bottom of your current lampshade
✧ Height of the shade & any slope if it has one
✧ Fitting style - table lamp, floor lamp, pendant/ceiling
We currently offer four standard drum lampshade sizes; we can also customise a size & shape to meet your needs.

Overview of Each Shade:
Drum - Simple, symmetrical, and oh-so-stylish. The Drum shade is the cool minimalist who plays well with just about everyone; from sleek Scandi bases to bold statement lamp stands. She's versatile, modern, and always on beat.
Oval - Similar to a drum shape, but not as tall. This shapely beauty is ideal for a taller lamp base or pendant light hanging from the ceiling.

Compatibility
Our lampshades come with an adaptor to fit both B22 (Bayonet cap lamp-holder) or E27 (Edison screw lamp-holder) lamp fittings. AU/UK lamp fitting (29mm/B22) or an EU fitting E27. This ensures your lampshade will fit beautifully on your lamp fitting.

Trims & Metallic Linings. Enhance your chosen fabric with our curated selection of metallic linings, including mirror gold, brushed gold, silver, copper, & champagne.
For that finishing touch, explore our optional trims, from classic braids to tassels (short & sweet or long & dramatic), or add a playful touch of pom-poms for a little extra charm. These details bring character and individuality to your lampshade.

Metallic Linings - Project a warm & lustrous reflective glow from the inside of the lampshade, both top and bottom, without allowing much light to travel through the fabric of the shade. Whether you're making a statement or setting the mood, this beautiful lining brings a touch of luxury, ambience and attitude to any space.
Classic White Lining - Our standard classic white lining is designed to brighten from within; the white lining allows a soft even light to filter through the fabric of the shade and into the room.
